I was sent the Onyxxx Cassia Wand free of charge in exchange for an unbiased review by Stag Shop!

Pros: Rechargeable, Small, Travel friendly, Beginner friendly, Silicone, Beautiful packaging.

Cons: Might not be strong enough for some.

Stag shop is a Canadian based sex shop. They sell a huge variety of sex toys, host in-store seminars as well as attend different events! Here is a little bit of history on the company:

Enhancing sex-positive attitudes and sexual well-being since 1972.

The Horea family started the Stag Shop business at 7 King Street in Waterloo, Ontario in 1972 under the name “Stag Novelties’ Books”. Stag Shop’s first location offered a diverse range of gag gifts, novelties and mild sexual aids. The first Stag Shop location also built a reputation for carrying a wide range of beautiful Halloween costumes. In fact, crowds of customers would line up to get a peek at the store’s new costume offerings during the Halloween season. While the Stag Shop still maintains its reputation for carrying a bevy of Halloween costumes, they are now known for carrying so much more!

The Stag Shop has made phenomenal leaps since the Horeas first started growing their business and branding the Stag Shop name in Waterloo, Ontario. The next generation of Horeas have worked aggressively to continue the Stag Shop legacy and grow the Stag Shop brand. With its family origins, the Stag Shop maintains that integral family approach in its daily operations.

The public taboos against sexy novelties made progress difficult for the Horea family when they first began, but they persisted in their belief that sexy meant fun. Through their determined effort, the Horeas created an environment that is pleasant and tasteful.

Today, the Horea family have built an empire of adult fun stores and continue to offer a comfortable and convenient shopping experience for both men and women.

Use:

The Cassia is a petite sized wand, which is going to make it travel friendly as well as ideal for most people. Most other wands on the market are rather big and bulky. They’re heavy which can cause your arm to get tired during use, but the Cassia is lightweight! It doesn’t have a cord, so you won’t have to worry about finding an outlet to use.

The controls on this wand are simple! There are 3 buttons in the center of the toy. An ‘O’ button, ‘+’ button and a ‘-’ button. Hold the ‘O’ button down for 2 to 3 seconds to turn your wand on and off. The ‘+’ button is going to cycle through the pulsation settings until you’ve reached the highest one. The ‘-’ button is going to cycle back through the settings until you’ve gone back to the lowest setting.

Settings/Speeds:

I would say this wand is about a 3 out of 5 when it comes to vibration strength. If you’re use to the power of the Hitachi, like myself, then this wand may not be for you. It’s going to be great for beginners and people who don’t need much power. The Cassia is very quiet though! If there’s any background noise, it’ll barley be heard. I know if I tried to describe the speeds/patterns, that I would be horrible at it, so here’s a video of the different levels!

Charging:

Charging for Cassia is just as simple as using it! To charge Cassia, you insert the charging plug into the socket labeled ‘DC’ which is located below the ‘-’ button. Push the plug into the socket until you feel a subtle click. The wand lights will flash every 2 seconds while it’s charging. When the lights stay on, it’s completely done charging. The manual says it will require 2 hours of charge time, but the day I got mine it only took mine 45 minutes to an hour before it was fully charged. The battery will last up to 2 hours on a high speed and longer on a low speed. Never use the wand while it’s being charged and only use the original charger included.

Material/Texture:

The majority of this wand is made out of superior grade silicone, which is phthalate free. It doesn’t collect much pet hair like my other silicone toys do, but I still wipe it off before I use it. It has a velvety finish which is completely smooth!

Design/Shape/Size:

As I stated earlier, Cassia is a petite sized wand. Looking at pictures online, I figured it was a normal sized wand, so when I pulled it out of the box, I was surprised at how small it was! It fits into my hand perfectly! It’s a beautiful plum color, but it also comes in black. It has silver detailing where the control plate is. It has a sleek design to it. The head is small and really flexible. In the manual, it says the head will bend and flex in a 90 degree angle. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the flexible head, but some may love that feature! It’s about 9 inches total with a 1.8 inch diameter.

Care/Maintenance:

Cleaning the Cassia wand is easy. You can use a toy cleaner, baby wipes, a 10% bleach solution or a mild soap and water. It is water resistant, but be careful when you’re cleaning around the charge port. Be sure to only use water based lube with your wand! The box makes for a great storage place, but it does (well it’s suppose to) come with a storage bag!

Shipping/Packaging:

The shipping from Stag Shop was fast and discreet! I was surprised at how fast it got from Canada to the East coast! The packaging for all of my Onyxxx products are amazing! They’re simple, yet elegant. It comes with a sleeve that has a picture of the product and some information on it. You slide that off to find a black box that says Onyxxx. When you pull the lid off, you find your toy in protective foam, your charger and the manual. There is suppose to be a storage bag as well, but mine didn’t come with one.
