Pros: Body safe items, Can cancel anytime, refunds offered, Discreet, Beautiful packaging.
Cons: Can get expensive.
I’ve always been interested in adult product subscription boxes, but most that I looked at often had porous toys in them. So, I had pretty much given up on wanting to get any. But when Unbound asked if I would be interested in reviewing for them, I went and looked at their site and was happy to see that they offered boxes with body safe materials. The Unbound is a adult subscription box that comes quarterly (February, May, August, and November). The cost of each box is $65. When you sign up, you’ll be charged and will receive the next quarter’s box. Boxes always go out the first week of: February, May, August, and November; for each subsequent box, you’ll be charged when the box ships. If there’s anything in your box that you’re not satisfied with, send it back for a full refund, no questions asked. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. Like I stated above, each box costs $65, but you get well worth your money! Luxury brands are often included in each box such as Jimmy Jane, Babeland, Good Clean Love, OhMiBod, UberLube, Minna Limon, and Njoy. Some items that you could receive in your box are lubes, books, vibrators, dildos, nipple toys, storage bags, massage candles, and much more! If you aren’t interested in subscription boxes, they do have a store you can purchase from!
Now onto my review of the May Delta box! When I received my box everything was discreet! There’s no mention of adult toys on the box or the return label. When you open the packaging box, you’ll find your Unbound box! It came in a sleek black box with an Unbound ribbon on the front. When you open it, you’ll find your items neatly tucked away in beautiful lavender tissue paper. Inside the May Delta box, you’ll find an information card telling what came in your box, JimmyJane Intro 2 Vibe, Exsens Cooling Stimulation Gel, Unbound Body Chain, Bijoux Indiscrets Silver Mimi Pasties, and a Unbound bag. For this being my first adult subscription box, I’m overall pretty happy with it!
Jimmy Jane Intro 2 Vibe ($59);
On the information card the Intro 2 is described as “The Intro 2 has powerful motors in each of it’s two soft silicone ears. Try pinching them lightly around your clit or nipples for a delicious sensation. Use the button at the bottom of the vibe to cycle through three levels of intensity and two modes (steady vibration and rapid pulses). Its waterproof and batteries are included for immediate action!” The Intro 2 didn’t impress me at all. It’s very buzzy and the ears just are annoying to use. The power button is very touchy, I put it back in the packaging and it lightly hit the button and it turned on, so if you ever plan to travel with this toy, be sure to remove the batteries! The fact that this luxury vibrator requires batteries is another turn off for me. The one thing that I do like about this toy is that it’s made from body safe silicone. To clean this toy, you can use a mild soap and warm water. The packaging for the Jimmy Jane Intro 2 is nice. It comes in a small box with information on each side. I personally wouldn’t recommend this vibrator unless you like really buzzy vibrations!
Exsens Cooling Stimulation Gel ($18);
The stimulation gel is described as “This French-imported gel does not eff around. Apply a small (1) dollop to your finger and gently rub on your nipples or clitoris for a near-immediate, intense, cooling sensation that heightens arousal and deeply focuses you in on your body.” When I used the gel on my clit, nothing seemed to happen. I rubbed some on the back of my hand to see if I felt any kind of cooling sensation, and I didn’t. It seemed to work the best on my nipples and whenever I lick it off, I definitely do get the cooling sensation. It comes in fresh ginger lychee which smells really good and has a sweet taste to it. The ingredients in the gel are: Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Aroma (flavor), Ethyl Menthane Carboxamide, Sodium Saccharin, Carbomer, Aqua (water), Sodium Hydroxide.
Unbound Body Chain ($36);
The body chain is described as “This chic gold cross-body chain makes quite the statement. It also features a convenient front clasp and small gold ‘UN’ charm. Wear it out under a blazer or stay in and take advantage of the crisscross design that puts those boobies out on display!” If you order the May Delta box, you’ll be asked to choose between the size regular or curve. The regular size comes with a 36″ waist chain and the curve size comes with a 48″ waist chain. The chain is really well made and I’m sure it would look good on me, but I honestly have no clue how to put it on. I’m sure it’s really easy to put on, I’m just being clueless.
Bijoux Indiscrets Silver Mimi Pasties ($14);
The Bijoux Indiscrets pasties are described as ” Bullseye. Turn your body into art with these gorgeous silverrhinestone pasties. Featuring a playful sunburst design, these self-adhesive ornaments radiate around the nipple, leaving it exposed for further play.” These pasties are my favorites items in this box, they’re so pretty on! They’re easy to put on and take off and will fit most nipple sizes. These pasties are meant for a one time use, but I think you could get at least 2 or 3 uses out of them before you would need to add another adhesive such as double sized tape! If you don’t want to order the subscription box, but want these, you can purchase them from their shop!
Unbound Storage Bag;
The Unbound storage bag is described as “A woman’s got to have her secrets! Keep all of your favorite indulgences in this cheeky cotton drawstring bag printed with a quote from one of our favorite Unbound women, Mae West.” The bag is well made! You can store your favorite sex toys, makeup, anything really! The quote on the front of the bag says Too much of a good things can be wonderful.” – Mae West.
You can purchase an Unbound subscription box for $65 or any of the items in this box through their shop!
